 2. Is writing an inner born, creative force inside you (bearing an obsession) of which you could not do without or could you nowadays think about some other profession?

This is hard. Writing for a living is a trade. You learn it like being an electrician, builder or plumber, and there are many similarities. The need to learn where the narrative wiring goes or how to build foundations that will support your novel. Grammar is a tool for writers, every other book you read is research.But the need to write is something entirely different. Most writers I know write to keep themselves sane. It’s an obsession that means if you don’t write life doesn’t feel right. That we turn this need to stay sane into a living is just luck. As for having another job, I’m not sure I’m employable.
