A new novel by JCG is always
an event... The Times

LATEST NOVEL

redRobe

'Tough, sexy and brutal, but leavened with sharp humour, redRobe is a tour de force... Grimwood is a name to watch...' The Times

'Grimwood packs every sentence with so much meaning that you'll want to go back... dazzling, seductive and pointed.' The Independent

'There are chases, bloody shoot-outs, destructive drugs and still more destructive sex... quite my favourite release of the millennium so far.' Sunday Express

'Raymond Chandler for the 21st century...' Esquire

'Grimwood's books are subtle... in redRobe, he has finally achieved the careful meshing of plot, character and context to create fiction that reverberates in the mind, long after it has been read.' Vector

'Infernally complex plot, fascinatingly ambiguous characters and sheer drug-fuelled excitement, all to a 120 bpm soundtrack... This is British sf that's not afraid to take on the Yanks at their own game and, quite frankly, it kicks butt... Five stars.' SFX.

'Dazzling panache and an acute satirical eye...' The Times

COMMENTS

  • First book by JCG I read. Picked up quite by accident in an airport WHSmith as I needed something to read on the plane I was catching. I was hooked right from the start. A great read that led to me tracking down all of JCG's novels. That was near on 10 years ago and i just reread Lucifer's Dragon again in the last few days and have started on neoAddix today.
