The same image but red title type rather than the US silver, different lettering for the author's name, and no glowing eyes or slight suggestion of blood around the mouth of the figure.

I prefer the UK font for the author name - the US one looks a bit messy. The red will stand out well when it's face out in the SF section. Looking forward to reading it - I've loved all your books

Had a comment left about not liking this cover. It was made by someone who'd read my books and I'm grateful they had (and hope they'll read this one). The person praised the early S&S Ashraf Bey covers and asked why Orbit wanted such a change in emphasis. The obvious is that the above cover is very commercial and they want to sell books. (I'd like them to sell some book too). But I'm currently trying to knit a more coherent blog response
